On the 16th Feb 2025 (Sunday), more than 120 JUGAS members and esteemed guests gathered at the Sofitel Singapore City Center for our annual Shinnenkai. The Shinnenkai serves as a way for members and guests to connect and re-connect, and above all provide a bright start to our new year!
The event was graced by His Excellency Mr. Hiroshi Ishikawa and Mrs. Ishikawa, as well as many representatives of the Japanese community within Singapore, including heads of Japanese schools and senior business figures.
Shinnenkai also serves as a way for JUGAS to thank them for their continued support.
After the opening addresses by His Excellency Ishikawa and JUGAS President Shen Yue, the evening continued with the fun-packed program which makes Shinnenkai special - starting with the Lo Hei and trivia game. We also had R.E.D, a Japanese City Pop Duo based in Singapore, jazzing our background with live music!
Once again, thanks to all who participated and who helped in making this a special night for us and looking forward to the rest of 2025, HUAT AH!
